Do I need to code?
No. You talk to Lyman in plain English. He explains things in plain English back.
Which AI do I need?
One of: Claude through Claude Code, ChatGPT through Codex, or Cursor, which also runs Grok.
Is it a subscription?
No. Free to plan, then $39 once (launch price until Dec 31, then $49). If you stop, the app keeps working.
Does my work leave my Mac?
Your project stays on your Mac, and your chats go straight to your own AI account, not through us.
Is it Mac only?
Yes. Lyman is a Mac app.
Is Lyman a real person?
No. He's an AI, and he says so. Calm, honest, a bit dry. Think of a good site manager.

What do you do with my email?
We keep only your email, to tell you about launch. Unsubscribe any time. The Privacy page has the details.
How do I leave the waitlist?
Use the unsubscribe link in any email from us. Your address is deleted.
If something goes wrong
How do I report a problem?
Use "Report a problem" in Lyman and press Send. That sends Lyman's logs so the problem can be found and fixed.
What does a problem report contain?
Lyman's logs. They never contain your passwords, keys, chats, code or files, and they stay on your Mac until you press Send. The Privacy page explains more.
